Page 971 … To be Born of God

Penultimately, you claim (via 1 John 3:9) that, “No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”

Well Lucy, if this verse is truly true – and if you think it somehow shows that Oliver Clyde Allen is not “born of God” (because you still errantly believe his homosexuality to be a sin), then it also shows that YOU are not born of God either, my arrogantly bigoted & flagrantly hypocritical Friend – and as such should not only keep your mouth closed related to your false opinions about Oliver’s innate sexuality, but should also humble yourself enough to go and listen to him preach the Word of God!

Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For with the judgment you make you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get.  Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own? … You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to identify the speck in your neighbor’s … Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in Heaven … Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven.  Whoever becomes humble like this young child is the greatest in the Kingdom … All who exalt themselves will be humbled, and all who humble themselves will be exalted … Woe to you, you hypocritical scribes and Pharisees, for you clean the outside of the cup and of the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.   You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of your own cup, so that the outside might also thereafter become clean … Let [she] without sin cast the first stone.”
