“Identity”

Who is she who has captured my Heart?

So much further than a Friend does she walk in my dreams,

so much more than a Mere muse does she summon from within.

Like the sun, she is the star around which I spin,

… the warmth that brings me solace.

Like the moon, she is the inspiration for my Love,

… the rock upon which all my troubles crash & fade.

I see now that she has been within me all along …

spinning there around my Spirit for thousands of lifetimes.

She is, always has been, and always will be

a shining light upon my Soul,

… the sparkle in my every glance,

… the first hint of my every smile.

And for as long as I live –

indeed, even far beyond my death,

she will shine forth from me

… in the echoes of all that I do.
