2003 … Home to havens Halcyon
In a stunningly miraculous trip that took me from Huautla de Jimenez to Mexico City (by car), from Mexico City to Tijuana (by bus), from Tijuana to San Diego (by foot), and from San Diego to Tacoma (by plane) – all in less than 24 hours, I finally returned Home to the Pacific NW to begin recuperating from my Mexican “misadventure.” And this is when Wright Park once again became a holy haven for me; a place where I smoothly returned to Peace of Being, and this particular bench became my renewed Center of Self – the place where I came every morning to meditate on my Higher Purpose and issue prayers of humble gratitude for the Life I had been allowed to live to that point. This was the time when all I wanted was to serve the Highest Good in the most powerful way possible in the little time I had left on this planet, and this was the lone wish I uttered every day as I sat in my sacred “Dogwood Cathedral” …
“All is well, provided the light returns and the eclipse does not become endless night. Dawn and resurrection are synonymous. The reappearance of the light is the same as the survival of the Soul.” ~ Victor Hugo
