1992 … Hucking along the Hoh
This was the summer when my brother Todd came to visit me – the summer when he taught me to throw my first Frisbee-forehand, the summer when we spent endless hours dancing & playing hackey-sack in the street with friends Becky & Jeff & Kevin & Craig, and the summer when we took a fraternal road trip to soak up the amazingness that was and still remains the Hoh Rain Forest on the Olympic Peninsula (in Washington state). I still remember sitting by our campfire eating avocado sandwiches & drinking Pete’s Wicked Ale during that amazing adventure, singing goofy songs & laughing until we cried, and then laying on our backs and watching the satellites tickle the stars as they zoomed across the pristine night sky …
