Day 138c: To Live & Love, ever onward … (September 14, 2019)
“It is not within my power to refuse the journey of life, regardless of the nature of my fears or the depth of my selfishness; for the definitions of ‘journey’ and ‘life’ are indistinguishably synonymous. If we are live, and we are indeed alive, then we must live. And if we live, we must journey onward … And as we walk into our future, we would do well to remember that we are not called upon to Do all the Good that is needed, but rather only all that Good we can each day fluidly Do … And so we must be like the river. A river knows nothing about its next destination, It may crash – just as we may fall into despair, and it might fall – just as we might fail or stumble, and it might even get polluted – just as we often become tainted with fear & greed. And yet the river never forgets the property of flowing – just as we must ever remember to wake and to rise and to return to the Way of Love.” ~ inspired by Craig Lounsbrough, Theodore Guerin & Shubham
