Day 133a: And along flows every River … (September 09, 2019)

I only got around 6 hours of off & on sleep in the church van, and yet it was surprisingly good rest considering the circumstances. And so it was that I actually felt an extra hop in my waddle this morning – despite the escalating discomfort and intensifying base-fatigue that comes with almost any long-distance walking. To flow ever onward is the summons, and so flow ever onward I do …

I have seen that standing water stagnates, and yet if it flows, it remains pure. I have seen that the cow will starve if she does not stand up each morning and head out to graze. I have seen that if the arrow does not leave the bow, it will never hit its mark. And I have seen each & every day that if the Sun were to stand still in its orbit, waves of chill & shadow would imprison half the Earth. Gold dust is merely dirt before its excavated, and sandalwood is unscented until carved. So too are we all pilgrims – those who must move in loving wanderment to live and fully be.” ~ inspired by Syafii
