Day 130i: Embodying the Will of GOD … (September 06, 2019)
It is not the Heart that must “hold” God’s greater Commandments in word or thought or feeling. No, to truly embody the Will of God, we must move and walk and live and give as active agents of God’s greatest desires – as flowing followers of the Commandments of selfless love and gentle forgiveness that Jesus himself prescribed …
“It is neither truth itself that liberates, nor our efforts to be free. For it is only when we courageously embody our highest Values that they live and bring worth & merit … In truth I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are in any way modeled after our still barbarous own — a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailties. And neither can I believe that the individual consciousness in any way survives the death of his or her body, although other souls harbor such thoughts (often through fear or vapid selfishness) … No, I wish for things far simpler. I wish that people would care as much about the Earth and all her sentient inhabitants at least as much as they care about who they think created the same.” ~ inspired by Jiddu Krishnamurti, Albert Einstein & George Stamatis
