Day 126f: We have come to Walk The Way … (September 02, 2019)
“Those who call you mad will one day honor you, for no great achievement is ever possible in an insane society without first embodying a touch of madness. Those who laugh at you will one day listen to you, for working through derision is always a criteria for both greatness and sharing. Those who know not you exist will one day seek your guidance, for your endless & joyful sacrifice will make you a beacon of The Way. Those who find you absurd will one day bow in veneration, for it is the absurd ideas that take us to the most needed & wondrous destinations. Those who look down on you will one day look up to you, for your efforts in the name of love & justice will place you on a proper pedestal. Those who are deaf to you will one day climb great walls just to sit nearby, for the voice that champions kindness & decency to all will echo in every heart like a purifying symphony. In truth, those who see you as inconsequential will one day speak of you with reverence. So breathe your mission daily and live your mission with every word and deed. Do so and your life will forge fate’s foliage, and your legacy will bloom accordingly … Remember that we did not come here to be comforted. Rather we came here like the red bird, to sing; we came here to live out loud … So live every day as if you were our society’s only future and hope, my friends, and one day it will indeed be so.” ~ inspired by Abhijit Naskar, Mary Oliver, Amile Zola & Akilnathan Logeswaran
