John 15:12 … the Commandment of Christ (03/06/11)
“This is my Commandment: that you love one another in the same way I have loved you.” ~ Jesus Christ (John 15:12)
As complicated as some would make it, Salvation is very simply indeed (in-deed!) … Simply set aside all the vindictive & aggressive & fearful verses you find in both Testaments, and return to Jesus’ sole Commandment: Loving others in the same manner that Jesus loved others.
And how did he love others? with humble ACTS of Kindness, especially those extended to his society’s “undesirables” and to his enemies.
“By this will everyone know that you are my disciples: when you show Love toward one another.” ~ Jesus Christ (John 13:35)
