Day 075a: Breaking bread at breakfast … (June 28, 2019)

I slept wonderfully the previous night (though I apparently did snore quite loudly – the first time the same had been mentioned to me on any of my pilgrimages) and woke feeling fully refreshed. Enjoyed a warm-up shower and some orange juice that a previous pilgrim had left behind, and then headed with Jean Marc to a local bakery, where he treated me to the second-best bread I was blessed to eat* on the entire Walk …

Your call to true Power is not a summons to slow down and reflect within. Rather, your most potent Self is rediscovered in those moments when the opposite vector is tread – when one barges boldly forth and seeks to Love All Out. The Joy-full feeling that lasts is only achieved when you yourself know heartfelt Peace, and the same can only be known in times of proactive generosity & kindness, never in moments of passive introspection A lack of acceptance of this Truth is why so many have the highs and lows, the mood swings, the transcendent euphorias followed by jagged steep crashes. These swings come because you have yet to develop a foundation of Peace for yourself – the Peace of selfless giving – that acts as an unmovable anchor in your life. Establish this peace in your life and you will experience a whole new reality of the world that flows with you, rather than against you.” ~ inspired by Alaric Hutchinson

*The best bread I received on this Walk was offered to me some 11 days previously on the streets of Cahors … 😉
