Day 073h: In every single Space … (June 26, 2019)

Smoothly parting the mists and opening my view to the beautiful town of Fichou Riumajoie (and its equally lovely church) proved to be the next in what would prove to be a very long line of quite delightful surprises …

God’s invitation to vocation completely erodes the society-driven divide between our spiritual and our professional lives. Indeed, in any Soul-full worldview, living must embody the Way of Peace, and the Way of Peace always requires full participation. We cannot claim to be one person – a person who justifies or rationalizes his or her selfish choices – in an everyday context or set of relations, and then a claim to be a totally different person – a Good Man or a devout worshiper, for example – in another more religious context. In truth there is no such thing as professional holy people. We each must live full lives in a flowing continuity with God, and our vocation must be equally operative in every single space we inhabit.” ~ via C. Andrew Doyle
