Day 070c: A thousand miles in a single Step … (June 23, 2019)

I am walking more slowly and far more steadily this morning – much more attentively; with far more appreciation for where I am and much less focus upon where I am headed. And somehow quite appropriately, it is during this far more mindful meander that I come to the Pont de Lartique, the point where every pilgrim on this particular trail commences the final 1000 kilometers of his Way to Santiago …

“All of my works are but small steps on my greater journey, a striving for truth that I have waged (and that I continue to honor) with pen and spoken word and steps upon the trail. Overhead, like within, is a distant and radiant star, and the more I stretch to reach it, the further it recedes. And yet by the power of my spirit and my single-hearted pursuit of Love’s more pure Way, I have crawled through the labyrinthine confusions of the world – the times of pain & fatigue; the relationships of disrespect & dismissal – in an unstinting effort to move even one inch closer, back to the realm of my Soul.” ~ inspired by Yayoi Kusama
