*Marie Antoinette actually got a much-undeserved bad rap — having never once uttered her supposedly hyper-callous “Let them eat cake” (unlike Nancy, who on the record quite clearly told the poor to “Just eat ice cream” to soothe their pandemic-soaked trauma). Indeed, far from being a Pelosian predecessor, Antoinette was actually an exceedingly kind woman, regularly caring for the poor and the orphaned alike.
