Day 065g: A not-so-secret Giving … (06/18/2019)
That same morning I had received a t-shirt from Baptiste before I started walking, and yet I had also known from the start that I wouldn’t be keeping it long.* That prediction turned out to be true enough indeed when I chose to decorate the same and leave it outside the Rouillac church to be found and enjoyed by another pilgrim** … 😀

*When long-distance walking – just like in long-term living, every non-needed ounce counts. That is why it is good to jettison as many unnecessary items as possible when walking a pilgrimage, and give away as many non-important “possessions” as possible while living your life … 😉
** I had specifically hoped that Mike (of “Mike & Cindy” fame) would come along after me and receive the shirt. And yet even though he later told me he saw it and liked it, he left it behind for another as well.
