Day 063m: The Beauty of Bach … (06/16/2019)

Maybe it was the great Beauty with which I was surrounded that afternoon, or maybe it was simply a cherubic Camino illusion, and yet I made it from Variare to the outskirts of Bach in what seemed like almost no time at all – and found there even more beauty still: the Beauty of a blue rose painted on the first home encountered, the Beauty of a small church bathed in light (both outside & in), and the Beauty of resting in the shade thereof while knowing that I was indeed on my Way … 🙂

“The pilgrim quickly overtakes the mere spiritual seeker, with the latter ever weighed down & slowed by the heavy burdens of accumulated ‘knowledge’ and crystallized dogmas and ‘lofty’ thoughts and “holy’ experiences, while the former has chosen a way that is fluid and smooth – for he has chosen to set aside all he has learned to set forth and boldly enliven the same.” ~ inspired by Frank M.
