Day 062i: A age-old Abode … (06/15/2019)

“Home has been idealized by many as a refuge from the world, somewhere safe and dry and predictable and unchanging. And yet that is not what Home truly is. Home isn’t just where we go to escape the world or warm chilled bones. Home is how we inhabit the world in which we live and through which we walk. Home is the connections we forge with the others wee encounter and the willingness to pay attention to the bejeweled particulars of our lives, from the things we carry to the things we see to the things we do to the other beings we meet along the way.” ~ inspired by Louisa Thomsen Brits
