Day 58r: Great troubles; greater Hearts … (06/11/2019)
This proved too be one of the most arduous days of walking to date — 37+ kilometers long, comprised of either steep & prolonged pathways &/or rock & mud-strewn trails; the last several hours of which all under a steady rainfall … 🙁
To make matters even more challenging, I was repeatedly rejected at the end of the day by town after town after town (first Fonteilles and then Le Brol and then Massip) — where hostel managers and local residents alike were all highly unkeen on offering yours truly a place to sleep for the night … :O
