Day 49q: Enough of hot & dusty … (06/02/2019)
I flowed onward smoothly enough for awhile, and yet the closer I got to the town of St. Germain (the day’s intended destination) the hotter and dustier the walking became. And to make matters even more challenging, the Camino decided to first show me the town itself on a very near horizon (instinctively getting my hopes up for some shade and possibly some sustenance), and then sent me walking a very looooooong way around several large fields (fields my aching legs would have just as soon directly traversed) to eventually get there … :O
