Day 49n: Chasing down the UPness … (06/02/2019)

I then entered St. Julien-Chapteuil proper, and almost immediately passed yet another pathside garden-party in progress. The family who was enjoying the same cordially invited me into their yard and , after hearing my tale, graciously offered me an entire bottle of water. Far more phenomenally than this initial dose of goodwill was Lou (pictured below) — the young woman most taken by my Walk’s radical mission; the young woman who realized after I had left that no food had been offered in support of the same; and the young woman who then gathered a small bag of delicious sustenance, hopped on her bicycle, and chased down yours truly (who was at that time at least a mile on ahead) to give him the same … :O πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€
