Day 48h: Maintaining Life’s Meaning … (06/01/2019)

I’m not sure why, but these mini-cairns left alongside The Path by pilgrims previous always brought a smile to my face and a glow to my Soul — on a superficial level, possibly, by verifying that I was indeed still walking the Camino route proper, and yet on a far deeper level, most definitely, by reminding me that we were all of us — pilgrims and strangers and animal residents alike — interconnected with one another, and that it was my privilege (if not my honor) to provide a similar solace to those who came behind me (if not to also enhance the harmony and beauty of the space itself) by adding my own small contributions to those same magical monuments … 🙂

“To maintain any degree of sanity, we must remember that everything is intimately interconnected on deeper levels, and to maintain any degree of meaning, we must embody the courage required to experience the same.” ~ inspired by Vironika Tugaleva
