Day 46i: A Divine sense of Humor … (05/30/2019)
After receiving my Walk’s very first offer of chocolate, it seemed appropriate to promise both Self & Maker that I would not eat of the same until I came fluidly upon the next wayside bench or rest stop. Of course, the Camino — like the Divine — is known for its somewhat pointed sense of humor, and the same was evident on this day as well — while I walked on & on & on & on, for well more than an hour in the dry & gathering midday heat, with no sign of stump or bench or glen in sight … :O ( 😀 )
