Day 42i: A most serendipitous Sustenance … (05/26/2019)

I flowed onward and out of Le Pin, and yet only made it to the very outskirts of the village before I saw Diane tending her home’s Path-side garden. I said Hello, told her that I was on a Peace Pilgrimage, and asked her for a glass of water. She immediately went and told her mother that a pilgrim was asking for water, and to my wonderful surprise her mother invited me up to join them for their long-since-scheduled private Mother’s Day luncheon (:O ) … We all shared a delightful meal of potatoes and snow peas and grilled mushrooms and fresh radishes thereafter, while chatting about pilgrimage and peace; what it means to live a Meaning-full life and how each of us can indeed every day help make the world a more Peace-full place. Then, after enjoying a delicious dessert of fresh strawberries, I expressed my profound gratitude, gave them a fond hug farewell, and headed back to The Way … 😀

“Suggestions on how to Give powerfully:
To a beloved, random acts of caring …
To a stranger, your heart …
To an opponent, kindness …
To an enemy, compassion …
and thereby to your Self, real Honor.”
