Day 42a: A constant, humble Giving … (05/26/2019)

I wake after a truly fantastic night’s sleep, create the “Peace Stone” gift (pictured below) that I would later give to Ludivine & Co., enjoy a lovely breakfast with them all – including uber-cute Gerris (also pictured below, in his father’s blacksmith workshop)*, and then flow onward … 🙂

“Watching the moon at dawn — solitary, sitting easily on the horizon, I knew my connection with it all. Noticing the goodness in the other — communal, given in every smile and every glance, I knew myself completely; no part dismissed or forgotten.” ~ inspired by Izumi Shikibu

*One of the primary topics of discussion this morning was the unwitting genius of the “Which hand is your present in?” game Gerris had played with me the night before, a game where he would open an empty hand and laugh heartily no matter which hand I happened to choose 🙂 … Of course, the genius therein rested in the fact that his gift to me did not reside in either of his hands at all; indeed, it was the fact that I was already fully residing in the same: namely, his & his family’s constant & humble Giving … 😀
