Day 40j: Choosing for whom to Choose … (05/24/2019)
When arriving at a fork in The Road, no matter which path I chose, I remembered to choose it for the greatest Good. And whenever ‘kissed’ by obstacles or trials — whether searing heat of pouring rain; jagged boulders or low-hung branches — I remembered for whom I walked, and ever chose to walk onward … 🙂
“You cannot control what happens to you, and yet you most certainly can control the way you respond to those same events. We always have a choice, and can always choose to face even the starkest trials and most trying of tribulations with a positive attitude instead of with frustration or despair … Indeed, none of us is ever a victim of circumstance or fate, but rather is ever the master of our own destiny. And as such it is crucial to remember that heroes are made not by the paths they have been given, but rather by the paths they choose – not by the obstacles placed in their path, but rather by their transcendence thereof.” ~ inspired by Roy T. Bennett & Brodi Ashton
