Day 26b: No signage needed … (05/10/2019)
After resting awhile in the Catholic church of Domdidier, I find it extremely difficult to flow onward, thanks to the Swiss “waymarker imps” who have once again resurfaced — having either posted Camino signs that led to dead-end after dead-end, or having posted no signs at all … 🙁
Eventually abandon looking for signs altogether and choose to simply find a bike-path heading in a generally southwestward direction and thereby finally get back on track — flowing through the lovely village of Dompierre in the process … 🙂
“The Camino often says, ‘Unless clearly told otherwise, keep heading the way you’re already headed.” And as with all its other messages, this wisdom is just as applicable to everyday living — translating fluidly to: ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ — or, better said: ‘Quit searching for what you’ve already got.'” ~ anonymous
