Day 14b: Feasting on LOVE … (04/28/2019)

As was often the case during my Great Walk (especially during its initial days), on this day I found myself wondering when I was going to be offered food (or whether I was going to be offered food at all). And yet as was just as often the case during my Great Walk (indeed throughout its entire 150+/- day duration), no sooner did I smile and let go of those worries & doubts than sustenance was gently offered — on this day from Heidi & Frieda, in the form of delicious leftovers (including an AMAZING homemade vegan apple-nut bread) from a charity-inspired ultramarathon rest-stop; a waystation upon which I quite literally stumbled in the quaint town of Sulzburg … 🙂

“They told me adventures were over, so I got off the internet and headed out the door. They told me kindness was a thing of the past, so I spent the whole day helping others in need. They told me real Love was dead, so I fell straight into it; completely and fully and head over heels; consciously and wholeheartedly and without the slightest reservation.” ~ inspired by Abby Lass
