Matthew 7:21 … To be a GOOD Christian (08/08/16)
Newsflash: Despite what Paul the prophet-of-old and many modern day Christian preachers say to the contrary, it doesn’t matter if you have been baptized as a Christian … and it doesn’t matter if you devoutly say your prayers every night … and it doesn’t matter if you go to church every Sunday … and it sure as Hell (pun duly intended) doesn’t matter if you tithe 10% of your money to the tabernacle of your choice.
No, my dear Friends — if you consider yourself to be a Christian only one thing truly matters (and this, straight from the mouth of Jesus Christ himself); namely, what you DO for others – the Kindness you show them (especially in those moments when you least wish to show it) & the Mercy you give them (especially in those moments when you least wish to give it — and especially for those “least deserving” of the same).
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but rather only the ones who enliven the will of my Father will do so.” ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:21)
Amen … Let it be so.
NOTE: This particular offer of “salvation” is valid for all, Christians & non-Christians alike.
