NOTE:  The word usually translated as “meek” in Matthew 5:5 more accurately means “those who soften what is rigid” … “Ar’ah” (read in most English Bibles as “Earth”) can mean all of natural creation/the environment … The Aramaic language also blurs the distinction between inner and outer, hence “in bodies and minds” … “Inherit” is actually “to receive sustenance and strength from” … Also, there is no “good” and “evil” here; only “ripe” or “unripe” … Aramaic was the mother tongue of Jesus, and was in all probability the language he used during many of his sermons.
