Despite an international ban on whaling that has been in place since 1986, well over 2000 whales are brutally butchered by Japan, Norway, Iceland and Denmark (the Faroe Islands) every single year … Many folks know that whaling still exists and many know that whales are some of the most gentle AND most intelligent beings on the planet, but not many know that whaling is one of the more cruel practices in existence … As the synopsis-meme below succinctly clarifies, the barbarity of humanity is evidenced not only in the fact that we still hunt whales at all, abut also in the ruthless manner in which we still do so.
Whales suffer horribly when hunted and murdered, my Friends, and there is NO EXCUSE that such a despicable activity is still tolerated in any way, shape or form.
