“In this picture my daughter is holding Brownie, the only rescue chicken who remains from when we first started rescuing hens 2.5 years ago … We have had to bury 8 innocent lives since then; 8 innocent lives ended because of the egg industry; 8 innocent lives that were forced to live in hideously tiny cages; 8 innocent young girls whose reproductive systems were exploited and abused.
