Does God demand obligations? … (04/10/08)

In my personal experience, God (whatever or whomever you might feel God to be) has nothing to do with “responsibilities” or “duties” or “obligations”.  These are man-made restrictions on our “God-Given” ability to purely Love others in each Moment …

That being said, merely because I am open to serving whatever Service is present in each moment of my Life, in no way means that I am “irresponsible”.  Actually, if one has the courage to live Faith-fully focused on Serving whatever IS, he/she ends up acting quite “responsibly” indeed …

We can only Love others Power-fully when we have freed ourSelves to Do so; when we are no longer constricted by fear-based judgments or rules or expectations or plans or promises — Just choose to be wherever you already are and then actively care for others …

All the dysfunctional behaviors we have been taught about “good citizenship” and/or “responsibility” merely serve to dampen the Power of our Love (if we let them!) … I am consequent with my Freindships because I want to Be; not because I “should be” … I am Loving to all around me because I wish to Love them; not because that is what a “good man” should do … I serve the flow of the Highest Good (“God’s Will”) because I have chosen to be Its servant; not because I must do so in order to “get to heaven” …

No, these edicts and dogmas do not come from the God I have experienced.  Rather, they resemble the fears of men, and they bear the “bad Fruit” of divisiveness and depression when followed …

I might be wrong, but I will go to my grave Believing in the “biggest” God I can envision and Loving the “biggest” Love I can Love …

I am “only Human”, and yet I have the Power to Choose (from the Grace of Free Will) — and if I am to err, I choose to err on the side of Love …

That is all!
