Page 163 … lying to protect the Truth
You commence here by saying, “The truth throughout history has been so valuable that people will tell lies to protect it”, and I actually fully agree with this concept. People have been lying throughout history in regards to the Truth, and yet they have been doing so not to protect that Truth, Dan, but rather to keep people from rediscovering it — just like the Old Testament authors, who lied about the dysfunctional nature of the spiritual entities who actually gave them their 613 laws (the fallen Elohim); … just like the author of Revelation (almost certainly not John the disciple, by the way), who obviously lied about the peaceful nature of Jesus Christ; … just like Paul himself, who lied both about being an apostle to Jesus (as well as about actually seeing/hearing Jesus on the Road to Damascus); … just like the Christian church, who has consistently lied about The Way of Christ (by preaching the Path of Paul, partly to maintain a veil of fear-full control over the tithing masses); … and just like the modern-day evangelical fundamentalist Christian, who lies about believing in a God of perfect, unconditional Love – while actually worshiping a celestial tyrant of capricious condemnation instead!
