Scaughdt: Bart, as I mentioned earlier (see page 80 previously), sexual reorientation therapy – the pseudo-scientific foundation of the “ex-gay” movement – has been rejected by all reputable American medical, psychological, psychiatric and professional counseling organizations; including the American Psychological Association in 2009, the American Medical Association in 2007, and the American Academy of Pediatrics in 1993 … Indeed, the cases where a truly homosexual man or woman has been successfully “cured” are as doubtful (and as disturbingly bigoted) as they are rare. Indeed, the next thing you know, these quack-therapists will be trying to “pray away the Black” and/or “heal the inner liberal” …
In essence, allow me to simply plead with you again to abandon your fear-based, judgmental beliefs, and instead have the courage to worship a God not nearly as petty, and show a Love not nearly as jaded … Peace.

Scaughdt: Hmmm … maybe not – only you would know for sure. All I know is A) that you have made it public on your page that you feel that the use of violence is warranted against your violent enemies, … B) that you are somewhat prejudiced against (or at the very least extremely unsettled by) most Muslims, … C) that you have no problem at all with homosexuals burning forever for their finite “sins”, … and D) that you actively & openly worship the God who is allowing (and who will continue to allow) the latter, most repulsive travesty to continue … ALL of these traits can only come from a place of fear, my Friend. Indeed, it is psychologically impossible for the human mind to truly Love another while harboring such thoughts or while championing such beliefs.
Bart, I’ve said before that I personally believe that you are a Good Person, and I will now say again that I also fully believe that you are indeed a Loving man with Loving beliefs in most of the moments of your life … That having been said, when it comes to homosexuals (and radical Muslims – and often African American “thugs”, as well as those “damn liberals”), you seem to be anything but. Of course, I have been wrong before, and I might be wrong again now.
