And here, once again, you make critical & condemnatory claims about these men (Oliver Clyde Allen & his husband – and indeed homosexuals in general) without any evidence whatsoever to support them.  And this, while you yourself are perpetrating the two sins that Jesus himself abhorred above all others – arrogance (Matthew 18:3-4) & hypocrisy (Matthew 23:25-26)… For shame, my dear Friend – For shame!

 

In addition, while it is true that the Bible does label homosexual intercourse to be an “abomination”, the Old Testament gives this title to quite a number of other transgressions … Please consider Proverbs 6:16-19 when it says —  “There are [seven] things that the LORD strongly dislikes, seven that are an abomination to Him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood; a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.”

 

Do any of these “abominations” sound familiar, my dear?  After all who among us here in this thread is exuding “haughty eyes” (e.g. arrogantly judging homosexuals to be “mortal sinners”)?   … And who among us here in this thread is bearing “false witness” (e.g. incorrectly labeling homosexuality itself as being a sin)?   … And who among us here in this thread is “sowing discord amongst brothers” (e.g. you & yours openly criticizing the “gay lifestyle” of Oliver Clyde Allen – an ordained Christian minister)?

 

I think you know the answer to these questions, my Friend … And if biblical “abominations” like homosexual sex are worthy of special condemnation, then it looks like you & yours (and all others like you who are publicly & falsely accusing homosexuals of living lives based in lust instead of Love) need to cleanse your own “abominations” before criticizing theirs!
