Page 556 … Outside of Marriage
“The act of sex between anyone outside of marriage is sin.”
And to this I simply ask you the very important question: If the act of sex outside of marriage is indeed a sin, they why in the world are you spending so much time talking about Oliver Clyde Allen? First of all, he is legally married (and morally married as well – at least according to the all-Loving Father of Jesus Christ) … Secondly, there are many far more prevalent sexual sins that need your attention far more than homosexual lovemaking does. Why aren’t you posting about heterosexual adultery, my Friend? – or heterosexual premarital sex? – or heterosexuals fantasizing about sex with someone other than their husband or wife? Unlike homosexual unions (which, according to the Bible, are not sinful per se), these sins of lust are rampant in our current society, and they are just as “mortal” … And besides, this post isn’t even about supporting gay sex, Lucy – it is about whether or not you would go and simply listen to a gay preacher preach …
And you said that you wouldn’t … And you said that your reason for not doing so was “The Bible says so” – when it actually doesn’t say so at all!
Hmmmm … Smells like bigotry to me.
