Page 658 … wanting it Our Way
“You want it your way; where there is no condemnation for sin; where people can do whatever they want.”
And once again, I will gently yet firmly explain why this statement of yours is fully FALSE … Indeed, never once have I ever claimed that “people can do whatever they want” without consequence – and indeed, never once have I ever claimed that there is “no condemnation for sin” (if by “condemnation” you mean consequence). For of course, each & every one of us has experienced the obvious reality that every single one of our choices is always met with consequences; a Truth with which the Bible happens to agree … Please consider:
“I the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways; according to the fruit of his deeds.” ~ Jeremiah 17:10
“Give and it will be given to you … For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” ~ Jesus Christ (Luke 6:38)
“Do not be deceived … for whatever one sows, that [and that alone] will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” ~ Galatians 6:7-8
And these verses are extremely important – especially for you & yours who profess to worship “the whole Bible”. For these verses point out quite clearly that Jesus is essentially correct – that God is a God of perfect Love (Matthew 5:48); that God’s perfect Love is a Love without fear, and therefore a Love without punishment (1 John 4:18); that though each of our sins will indeed reap according to what was sown, they will also reap only what they sow – and not one ounce of consequence more; that the critical determinant for what we reap is found in “the heart” and “the mind” while we are acting – namely, that the intent behind each of our choices determines what is reaped; and the consequences we thereafter reap are then not based on the deeds themselves, but rather on the Fruit that is born thereof …
IN OTHER WORDS, according to the Bible itself, a homosexual union that is joined with Love, for Love, and that brings forth Love thereafter, will not be punished AT ALL – for not only is such a union in and of itself not a sin, it is actually an act of Love that bears the Divine Fruit of Peace (the primary essence of God – see Isaiah 2:4 + Matthew 5:9) & the Divine Fruit of Joy (the primary purpose of Jesus Christ – see John 15:11) …
Amen to that …
And let it continue to be so!
