Page 824 … Truth based on Scripture
“The correct way is to form your truths based on Scripture” … Hmmm … It seems to me that this is exactly what I am currently doing in this conversation – and that this is indeed exactly what I have been doing from its very beginning. In truth, I have been the one herein who has offered not only far more Scripture to support my far more Loving interpretation of the Bible, but I have also been the one who has provided to date the only such interpretation that actually takes the ENTIRE BIBLE into account!
Indeed, you & yours have still not explained how you can believe in “the whole Bible” to maintain your judgmental beliefs while simultaneously ignoring so many passages of Scripture. Indeed, how can you “believe the whole Bible” and yet ignore John 5:22 & John 8:15 & John 12:47 regarding the innate gentleness of Divine Judgment? … And how can you “believe the whole Bible” and yet disregard Matthew 5:48 & 1 John 4:18 & Matthew 18:21-22 regarding the the extreme nature (if not the very existence) of Hell? … And how can you “believe the whole Bible” and yet dismiss both Jeremiah 31:31-34 & Hebrews 8:8-13 regarding how we are to place the teachings of Jesus Christ ahead & above other verses in the Bible? … And how can you “believe the whole Bible” and yet turn away from Luke 17:20-21 & John 13:15-17 & John 13:34-35 regarding the Here & Now nature of both Heaven & Salvation? … And how can you “believe the whole Bible” and yet look away from Matthew 18:3-4 & John 14:12 (& indeed all the parables of Jesus) regarding how we are enter that heavenly Kingdom?
And possibly most important of all, how in the world can you “believe the whole Bible” while simultaneously and quite clearly violating the following verses whenever you publicly damn homosexuals &/or condemn homosexuality?
“Do not judge, so that you may not be judged … Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own? … You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly enough to remove the speck from your neighbor’s … You hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup [of others], but inside are full of greed and self-indulgence … First clean the inside of your own cup, so that the outside might also become truly clean … Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this young child is the greatest in the Kingdom … Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:1-2 + Matthew 23:25-26 + Matthew18:3-4 + John 8:7)
