“But gays choose to be gay.”

Setting aside for the time being the ever-growing body of scientific studies showing that homosexuality is actually a “God-created” (or at the very least a “God-allowed”) state of being that gays acquire from a very early, pre-sexual age (see pages 78-80 &/or pages 110-115 previously), we must continue to ask the following very important question (for it has yet to be answered):

How is it that gays – who are supposedly born straight – can somehow suddenly choose to become sexually aroused by members of the same sex?

Lucy herself has quite openly admitted that she does not have this capability (otherwise she would have been born bisexual – an “insult” she has vehemently denied), and I know for a fact that I don’t have this power either.  So why do homosexuals somehow have this ability to choose that the rest of us straight folks don’t?

Or, the question better posed:  How does God justify only giving some of us the “temptation” (even though being gay is not a sin according to the Scriptures) to choose to be gay?

Or, even better queried:  Why would God make roughly 10% of the human population essentially bisexual at birth, and then punish those people for eternity merely for choosing to be true to how He made them in the first place?

*P.S.  The most biblically consistent & the most moral answers to these 3 questions are:

They don’t …… He can’t …… and He didn’t!

Intermission 07a

“But God doesn’t send gays to Hell; they choose to go there.”

To be fair, what Lucy & Bart (& Dan, & Diana) are actually saying here that it is homosexuals’ choice to sin (by being gay?) that has them in effect “choosing” their eternal damnation, and yet the very important question still remains:  If homosexuals do indeed (inadvertently) “choose” to go to Hell, then will they fairly be allowed to leave after discovering their honest mistake and petitioning the all-Loving, all-powerful & all-knowing God for mercy?

The Apocalypse of Peter (a Biblical writing that was considered Holy Scripture by the church for several hundred years after Christ’s death) says that they will indeed be able to do so.  The modern-day Christian church, of course, says that they won’t.  So WHICH IS IT?

Either way, if gays are forced to remain in Hell forever, it will most certainly not be because of their choice to go there … It will be because of God’s decision to keep them there.
