Remembering what it means to LOVE … (10/17/15)
None of us can know exactly what the child in this picture is thinking, and yet one thing is certain:
… He is NOT thinking “veal”.
Let us all have the humility to remember — and the courage to re-member — what it was like for us ALL as small children; a time when we thought of animals as Friends; not as “food” or “fun” or “fur”.
Amen … Let it be so.
