LOVE leaving the closet … (06/06/15)
Yes, there are many forms of bravery at least as courageous as Bruce Jenner coming out as Caitlyn … And yes, only time will tell if he (now she) chooses to use his/her bravery for selfless Good or mere self-promotion … And yes, I agree that it would indeed be nice to live in a world where we focus on the issues that are truly critical to humanity’s survival (theocracy, wars — both at home & abroad, animal injustice & climate change — just to name a few); a world where a person’s gender &/or particular sexual inclinations don’t make any news headlines at all.
Sadly, we do not yet live in such a world.
And yet we ARE getting there — and it is oh so important that we get there quickly.
Terry Coffey was right when said that, “Hate helps nothing … Love wounds no one.”
