Myth #01: “But animals are made of meat.”
“Meat” is a merely a convenient label we humans have placed upon the rendered flesh of a dead animal. As such, while it is indeed true that pigs and cows and chickens and turkeys are “made of meat”, so are the bodies of dogs and cats and horses and hamsters — and humans.
Just because we have a natural bias towards our own species does not make it OK to abuse species other … and just because all animals are potential sources of food does not make it acceptable for us to confine them, abuse them & kill them.
