The notion that “radicals” are people who hate their country is not only naive and misguided, but usually idiotic as well. What these individuals ARE, far more often than not, are individuals who actually adore their country far more than most, and are therefore disturbed & distressed far more than most when seeing its freedoms defanged, its values debauched and its validity denigrated. These “extremists” are not “bad citizens” who have turned to crime; they are the very best of citizens driven to call loudly for a return to the way of integrity and the way of respect and the way of peace.
