The Maverick Soul is the most potent (& the most underestimated) Force in the Universe; the lone forgiving smile in an angry crowd … the lone joyful face shining forth from a collective of frowns … the lone set of arms open & warm on the sidewalk filled with those crossed & cold.

Even though they seem alone, they count as many … Even though they seem weak, they are our true might … Even though they seem anonymous and useless, they are our only hope.

For these are the insurgents of Compassion … These are the renegades of Kindness … These are the rebels of Love.

These are the Souls who are going to save our species. These are the Souls who are going to keep on reminding us all — over & over & over again — who we truly are. These are the Souls who are — one act of radical Kindness at a time — slowly but surely bringing us back from the brink of disaster.
