14 Love is the real Faith …
Jesus: “Those who believe in me will do the works I have done” (John 14:12)
Paul: “The only thing that counts* is faith expressing itself through Love.” (Galatians 5:6)
Jesus: “Fantastic!”
*Note: Even though Paul misses the mark a bit in hinting that we must do Kind deeds to satisfy God or attain personal reward (“the only thing that counts”), the unwitting brilliance of combining Faith & Works and melding them into ONE would have thrilled Jesus immensely. After all, Jesus” entire ministry was LOVE based — where LOVE is in motion; where LOVE is a verb.
