16 the merciful Father …
Jesus: “But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you …Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for He is kind to the ungrateful & the wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” (Luke 6:27-36)
Paul: “For [Christ] must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.” (1 Corinthians 15:25)
