letting your Self shine … (05/14/13)
Let us have the humility to look anew at ourselves.
Let us have the clarity to SEE just how magnificent we truly are:
… just how powerful;
… just how brave;
… just how strong;
… just how Kind.
And then, let us have the Courage to go forth and BE that Change:
… powerful in how we brighten another’s life with our smile;
… brave in how we approach the downtrodden with arms open;
… strong in how we defend those who are being attacked & denigrated;
… Kind in how we treat those who are treating us unkindly.
We are — every one of us — a brilliant slice of the Divine.
And yet this radiance cannot shine on its own. No, my Friends, our celestial luminescence can only bring warmth and beauty when we allow it to pierce the dark fog of our caution. And such a rebirth cannot come from mere thought or emotion or desire … We cannot believe our way to the numinous.
No, it is only the bold deed of LOVE that can liberate our Greatness.
Even though we are literally composed of the grace of halcyon glory, it is up to each of us to choose to let that Light shine.
