AGBS week #9: Revisiting the 10 Commandments (05/12/10)
Class #9 began by answering some questions related to Week 8 materials & concepts (including a contrasting look at the Beatitudes of Jesus vs the beatitudes of Revelation, as well as a deeper look into the psychological implications of the Seven Seals of Revelation as compared to Jesus’ “Olivet Discourse” found in Matthew 24). Thereafter, the majority of the evening looked deeply into the Ten Commandments — both the implications of their content, as well as their contrasting relationship to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
