Stephane and I had agreed to accompany one another on his pilgrimage’s final 12 km (I was in truth deeply honored that he asked me to do so), and it didn’t take long for the Camino to provide us with our first “magical” encounter – this time with these two lovely ladies from Spain; two lovely ladies who spoke neither English nor German nor French (the 3 languages with which Stephane and I could have communicated with them), and yet two lovely ladies whose golden-hearted generosity and radiant kindness needed no words to be clearly stated (with them both effusively offering heartfelt love and kisses after Stephane was finally able to inform them about the nature & purpose of my Walk) …
