Day 085a: Remaining a reticent Hero … (July 08, 2019)
And the pilgrims rise as one, and set forth together – albeit staggered – into their shared new day …
“The true hero is ever the champion of who he is becoming, not of who he has become – in large part because he sees himself always as the former, and never the latter … In truth, no one commences any day from a place superior to another. We all start our lives at the same level of understanding & we all blindly start running towards an extremely similar destination. Where we start to seemingly differ is when those of superior humility (and as such superior kindness) realize at a far earlier point that the aforementioned destination is but a myth; that life is not a long journey with short stopovers, but rather an extended string of independent-yet-interconnected instants in time – each of them full & whole in their own right.
