“I have chosen to walk the longer road to freedom, and I have chosen not to falter. Yes, I have made mistakes along the way, and yet I have also discovered the secret that after climbing any great hill, one always finds that there are many more ascensions to summit. And so after having taken but a moment here to rest; to capture an appreciative view of the glorious vista that surrounds me; to look back in gratitude upon the distance I have come; to gaze forward with gentle resolve upon the horizons of my future, I will only pause here for a moment.
